For the first time, the most isolated indigenous schools located in the Jujuy High Valleys – in the north-western Argentinean Andes, where roads do not exist – are reached by a Mobile Cinema team to show films. Through a 20-hour walking journey at 4500 m above sea level, the Mobile Cinema team members impact on a world that is revealed to be both distant and profound. The journey distils an analogy between the cinematographic language and the approach that Andean communities forge with their land. The Andean Screen is a documentary that is still in the postproduction phase.
