Death has not changed Isaac at all. He remains the same swindler as he was in life. The laws of heaven are however stricter than those of the earth, and Isaac is condemned to return to the world of the living as a ghost. The only way to return to the Paradise is to convince someone to make a sacrifice for him. Turning to his family is apparently, the way to ensure his ticket back. Unfortunately, no one seems willing to make the minimal sacrifice for a dead man who no longer contributes to the goodwill of the family.
